Education

The contents are developed in the framework of various projects: for example, in the TRAP-EE project we have designed education for energy managers in the field of providing and improving the operational energy efficiency, maintenance of systems and energy-saving energy in buildings. We follow the guidelines of the ISO 50.001 standard, which in Article 4.5.2 requires organizations to educate their employees in the area of energy efficiency and energy use. Key stakeholders in this context are, in particular, energy managers, maintainers and home technicians who, by their actions and the introduction of certain measures – they acquaint themselves with education, can contribute to increasing the operational energy efficiency of a particular building and, consequently, reducing energy costs.

In order to evaluate the performance of already conducted trainings we conduct interviews with participants, some concrete and measurable effects of the participants are:

“Due to your specific instructions, we started introducing a system of service books in our building, through which we can record various events and interventions in individual devices, in the long run we follow the interventions in the devices, we design maintenance plans which in turn enable us to better and more effectively control over the current situation. ” (Head of maintenance in the building of the University of Ljubljana).”

“Education, socializing and conversation with other supporters has allowed me to create a wider picture of my role in a comprehensive process of ensuring and improving energy efficiency. I started to question the current situation in my own building, look for weaknesses and in this way suggested and carried out For example, I noticed that for unknowingly reasons a considerable amount of water and salt were consumed. I began to research and find out that the problem is in the inadequate functioning of the system. I can boast that due to my intervention, the consumption of water has decreased from 280 m3 3-4 m3 per week, which in turn means about 700 eur savings per week at the peak of the cooling season. At the same time, for the same reasons we reduced salt consumption from 150 kg to 12 kg per week, which means approximately 275 eur savings per week This will allow the organization to save almost 20,000 euros annually because of my concrete proposals, that is the amount od my annual salary! ” (Mechanical engineer of the building of the University of Ljubljana).”

“With the help of the checklist that you presented to us on education, I analyzed my own building in detail, and on the basis of the findings, I took some measures to increase energy efficiency. So I recognized certain faults in the fans for ventilating fans in the climatic conditions, and with their pre-setting reduced energy use by 6%, which means € 3,500 annually. ” (Electrical maintenance engineer of the University of Ljubljana building). “

Seminar VARČNO Z ENERGIJO – Trajnostno naravnan način življenja se začne v šoli (September 2015)

Seminar se je izvajal na pobudo Ministrstva za infrastrukturo, izvedba je bila v domeni Focusa, društva za sonaraven razvoj (www.focus.si), in Inovacijsko razvojnega inštituta Univerze v Ljubljani (www.iri.uni-lj.s). Seminar je bil namenjen vsem učiteljicam in učiteljem osnovnih šol ter drugim zaposlenim na osnovnih šolah, ki se vsakodnevno srečujejo z učenci in v 9 letih njihovega življenja lahko bistveno vplivajo na njihove prihodnje navade. S svojim zgledom in učenjem lahko znatno prispevajo k povečanju učinkovite rabe energije v šoli in doma, saj vplivate tudi na spreminjanje navad v družini šolajočih se otrok in širše. Učitelji/ice zelo pomembno vplivajo na oblikovanje vedenjskih navad v zvezi z uporabo različnih vrst energije v vsakodnevnem življenju otrok.

Seminar Energetsko varčne stavbe (maj 2014)

Na Univerzi v Ljubljani je 7. maja 2014 potekal seminar z naslovom Energetsko varčne stavbe. Seminar je bil namenjen različni ciljni publiki (upravniki stavb, tajniki fakultet, predstavniki industrije,..). S seminarjem smo želeli udeležencem predstaviti predvsem ključne informacije glede prenove javnih stavb, možnosti financiranja glede na nove finančne perspektive, možnosti vključevanja javno/zasebnega partnerstva in skladnost z novim

Seminar “Trajnostne kulturno zaščitene stavbe” (December 2013)

V okviru projekta zavezništva znanja EURL3A je 12.12.2013 na Univerzi v Ljubljani potekal mednarodni seminar z naslovom “Trajnostne kulturno zaščitene stavbe” (Sustainable historical buildings). Seminarja so se udeležili partnerji projekta in 50 vabljenih predstavnikov iz različnih sektorjev: predstavniki gospodarstva, državnih institucij, nevladnih organizacij, univerzitetni profesorji in študentje.
