HAVEN Project Consortium Meeting in Antalya

Between 20th and 21st January 2026, IRI UL participated in a project meeting held in Antalya, Turkey, which was organized by the industrial project partner IMECAR at one of its facilities. Within the HAVEN project, IMECAR is developing a battery module and is also engaged in the manufacturing of electric vehicle charging stations.

The meeting began on Tuesday in one of IMECAR’s conference rooms. The consortium was first introduced to administrative and general information regarding the project’s progress, after which the technical part of the meeting commenced with presentations of the individual work packages. In the afternoon, IMECAR organized a guided tour of its research and production processes. This allowed project partners to gain first-hand insight into the manufacturing of electric vehicle charging stations and battery modules.

On the second day of the meeting, Wednesday, progress within work packages 3, 6, and 7 was also presented. IRI UL plays an important role in work package 7, as it leads tasks 7.3 and 7.4, which focus on the preparation of financial assessments of the project’s individual solutions and the development of business models. In view of the upcoming reporting deadlines (June 2026), IRI UL presented the timeline and technical implementation plan for both tasks.

The meeting demonstrated that, after two years of implementation, the HAVEN project has entered a critical phase, as tangible physical solutions will be developed and implemented in individual pilot installations over the next six months.
