SONATA Consortium Meets in Perugia for Mid-Project Alignment
The beginning of November brought the SONATA partners together once again, this time in Perugia, Italy, where Università degli Studi di Perugia hosted the 6th Consortium Meeting.
With the project moving toward its halfway point, the meeting focused on refining several parts of the work. Partners took part in workshops dedicated to improving the SONATA Digital Twin and examining the heuristics that may guide the orchestration algorithm. Another session collected input for the upcoming Cost-Benefit Analysis tool.
IRI UL led Workshop 8: Key Stakeholder Engagement. In this session, representatives from WIE and ACE met with each working group to discuss their ongoing activities, offering feedback on what is progressing well, what could be strengthened, and how the SONATA project might better respond to the needs of those who will ultimately use its results.
The meeting also included updates from the PhD researchers, whose work contributes an important scientific dimension to SONATA’s development.
Beyond the working sessions, participants had the chance to enjoy the city of Perugia, including a guided tour of the historic centre and a taste of local Umbrian cuisine.
