EBENTO project in Malaga

The EBENTO project is developing an integrated one-stop-shop platform for all actors in the building and renovation sector to better coordinate and manage energy performance contracting in the field of building renovation. At the same time, the project focuses on citizens as key actors in the energy transition, for whom EBENTO solutions will help them to make decisions on energy efficiency investments.

The project’s 3rd consortium meeting of the project, held on 17-18 January 2024, was hosted by the Spanish organisation CEMOSA in Malaga. As we are approaching the successful halfway point of the 36-month project, project activities are well underway.

The EBENTO one-stop-shop platform is intended to stimulate and accelerate energy renovations, especially in residential buildings, which, in conjunction with energy performance guarantees and contracting, is a key element of the project’s innovation. The results of our research show that the (good) practices and challenges of energy contracting in the residential sector are extremely diverse in the participating countries. At this crucial stage, the project partners are designing business models, defining use cases, while EBENTO is also testing its approaches and solutions in four pilot sites, namely in Estonia, Greece, Spain and the UK.

We invite you to follow the project activities and the development of the tools on the EBENTO website, LinkedIn and X!
