EBENTO Project’s First Review Meeting in Valencia
The EBENTO project partners met in Valencia, Spain, and presented their research findings and project achievements to the European Commission project officer, as well as the work plan for the coming months. The review meeting took place on May 8th and 9th, 2024, at the premises of the project coordinator Etra I+D.
The project, implemented within the Built4People partnership, is developing an integrated “one-stop-shop” platform, which will ensure better coordination and management of energy performance contracting in the field of building renovation. The platform will offer a supportive environment for all stakeholders in the building sector, with citizens, the key actors in the energy transition, at the forefront of the project. EBENTO solutions will ease the decision-making process in investments in energy efficiency and building renovation.
At the meeting, the partners presented the consortium and detailed results of all work packages. IRI UL acts as a research partner in the project, incorporating social science knowledge and research methods into the development process. Among other things, we led a qualitative study among key stakeholders in the participating countries, which was one of the foundations for developing new business models in the field of energy performance contracting, involving aspects of demand response and comfort.
The supervisory meeting set a milestone and laid the foundations for successful work in the second half of the project.
