IRI UL in Ljubljana Hosted the Second Consortium Meeting of the SONATA Project
The SONATA project consortium met in person for the second time on June 6th and 7th, this time in Ljubljana. Some partners gathered on the evening before the first day of the consortium meeting and took a walk to the Ljubljana Castle, where they enjoyed refreshments and the views from the castle tower over Ljubljana and its surroundings. The evening concluded with dinner and socializing.
The first day began with presentations of the first five work packages, where participants briefly presented the current status of each work package and future plans. After lunch, they continued with the “SONATA Co-Design Workshop,” part of task T7.1, where they developed various personas in groups who could benefit from the adaptive technologies developed in the SONATA project. The day continued with a working meeting titled “Design Thinking & Design Adaptations.” This was followed by another workshop that connected work packages 3, 4, 6, and 7. The day ended with a social dinner.
The partners continued the second day with presentations of the work packages, presenting the next three. In the meantime, a meeting of the SONATA project doctoral students took place, where they discussed their work and the challenges they face. Later, they presented these ideas to the others, leading to a very beneficial discussion for the students about their work. The coordinators continued with the presentation of project management updates. Finally, two parallel workshops took place. The first was intended for academic and research partners, and the second for industries and representatives of target groups. The consortium meeting concluded successfully, and the partners are already looking forward to the next consortium meeting, which will be in Aachen next year.
