Successful Completion of the 2nd Renov-AID Consortium Meeting

On February 4, 2025, we successfully held the 2nd consortium meeting of the Renov-AID project at the Kovačnica premises in Kranj. Together with our partners, we reviewed the work carried out during the first three months and shaped future action plans for each project work package.
As part of the first work package (WP1 – Project Management and Coordination), IRI UL, acting as project coordinator, presented the key tasks completed during the initial three months, along with consortium agreements for the upcoming months. Initial project efforts were reviewed, and the next steps for a successful continuation were outlined.
The second work package (WP2 – Mapping Demand and Supply) focused on the methodology for mapping both the supply and demand sides for the three pilot sites. ZRMK presented the methodology developed based on the experience from the REFURB project. This was followed by an interactive workshop where participants discussed the current situation in the pilot areas, exchanged opinions, and co-developed concrete proposals for the next steps.
Within the third work package (WP3 – OSS Business Models), SGG led a workshop aimed at deepening the understanding of One-Stop Shop (OSS) business models. Discussions focused on the key elements necessary for successful OSS implementation and identifying priority tasks for upcoming meetings until April 2025.
A key part of the meeting was the presentation by Ekosklad, which provided an overview of current activities related to the upgrade of their portal. The aim of these upgrades is to reduce the workload of advisors and enhance the customer experience. This was followed by an intense discussion on potential functionalities to be added in the next phase of the project.
The fourth work package (WP4 – Renovation Journey) concentrated on defining the renovation journey for the three pilot sites. Plans, goals, key stakeholders, and meetings scheduled for 2025 were presented, with special attention given to the initial awareness-raising campaign activities.
As part of the fifth work package (WP5 – Concept Exploitation), Prosperia presented the core idea for scaling the “Renovation Movement” concept, introducing communication guidelines for the pilot sites and outlining overall communication strategies within the project (WP6 – Communication and Dissemination).
The meeting concluded with discussions on administrative and financial matters. After the official part, partners took a walk through Kranj’s Planina neighborhood – the most populous residential area in Slovenia, still known today for its high-quality apartment block construction.
The next consortium meeting will take place on April 22, 2025, in Ljubljana, where we will continue with concrete actions and activities to reach our objectives. We thank all participants for their valuable contributions and active collaboration.
