IEEE Power & Energy Society General meeting in Denver
The 2022 IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES) General Meeting was held in person in Denver, Colorado from July 17 to 21, 2022. The theme of this year’s conference is Powering a Sustainable Future in a Changing World and is the premier annual power engineering conference proudly presented by IEEE PES that brought together leading power engineers and key academics from all over the world. The aim is to provide an international forum for expert to promote, share, and discuss vital issues and progressive developments in the field of electrical power engineering.
Edin Lakič (IRI UL) and Tomi Medved (LEST) both spoke on a session on grid development and energy projects in Europe on the 21st of July. Edin presented the X-FLEX project under the heading Enabling flexibility on a disruptive network, while Tomi Presented project COMPILE and good practice for Tools and services for assisting Energy Communities.
It was an excellent event, with all presenters delivering engaging talks. We are eager to contribute to the future of green energy for which there is much work to be done.
