Our new brochure ‘One-Stop Shop’ (OSS) and the renovation pathway infographic!
On Tuesday, 1 July, at the 4th Renov-AID consortium meeting, we presented two key tools that will make it easier for homeowners in Ljubljana, Kranj, and Velenje to embark on the path of energy renovation.
Renovation Journey
With the infographic “Renovation Journey”, we created a simple overview of all the phases of energy renovation: from the initial information stage to the final step, the use of the renovated home. This infographic helps the homeowner understand the key activities, tools, and risks at each stage of the renovation process. It immediately provides insight into:
-
Where and how to start,
-
Which phases (concept design, planning, implementation) lie ahead,
-
How to set up the project for a successful renovation.
The infographic distinguishes five separate steps:
Information and awareness
- First contact and tools: Online condition assessment, registration for ENSVET counselling, visit to a climate and energy office
Concept design
- Preliminary condition analysis
- Renovation guide to help select quality local designers and contractors
Planning
- Obtaining non-refundable funds (Eco Fund, other calls)
- Preparation of the implementation project and review of legislation
- Assessment of financial framework: investments, savings, bonuses
Implementation / construction
- Contracts with contractors (construction, mechanical, electrical), quality protocols
- Coordination, supervision, and regular progress reporting
Use after renovation
- Administrative closure and allocation of subsidies
- Measuring effectiveness and sharing results
‘One-Stop Shop‘ Brochure
In addition to the infographic, the brochure compiles information about who the OSS points are for, what they offer, and how they function. For further guidance, there are 54 ENSVET offices available across Slovenia, where homeowners can receive free, independent energy advice. Registration is possible by calling 080 16 69 or visiting: https://ekosklad.si/prebivalstvo/ensvet/pisarna. These advisers operate under the Ekosklad and also provide advice on financing options (loans and subsidies). For more technical questions regarding specific solutions, homeowners can also turn to the Slovenian National Building And Civil Engineering Institute (https://gi-zrmk.si/en/)
We will distribute the brochure and infographic during information days, workshops, and through online channels, all with the aim of making home renovation simple to understand and accessible to everyone!
