Project EduFootprint raising awareness of energy efficiency and environmental footprint of schools and faculty buildings

One of the key goals of the EduFootprint project, which is financed within the EU programme Interreg Mediterranean, is to lower the environmental footprint of participating schools and faculties after the implementation of educational programmes and technical interventions.

Among the project results which support energy efficiency is EduFootprint Calculator, which automatically calculates the environmental footprint of individual school and university buildings. The Calculator is a tool which measures resource consumption and activities carried out in the school and converts this in the environmental impact due to the supply of resources and assimilation of waste generated. One of the tools for an efficient awareness raising among users and occupants of the buildings are the EduFootprint storytelling videos, prepared by project partners in all participating regions – find them at the project website.
