University-Business Cooperation for Sustainability
At the end of October, IRI UL researchers participated in two Brussels events dedicated to university-business cooperation. They presented our experiences and best practices from the Erasmus+ project PEOPLE at the 8th European University Business Forum and at the Knowledge Alliance Cluster Meeting on University-Business Cooperation.
Gender equality in science and research
IRI UL is featured on ZRC SAZU's new website, dedicated to gathering and disseminating information on research and promotion of gender equality in science. International project IRIS (FP7) addressed the challenge that few young people in general, and women in particular, choose to pursue an education in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
The Future of Education: Strategy, Cooperation and Learning Environments
IRI UL contributed to the 6th workshop of the interdisciplinary expert team developing curriculum guidelines in the area of key enabling technologies and advanced manufacturing technologies. We shared good practices from the PEOPLE project (Erasmus+), underlining key principles of the PEOPLE model of interdisciplinary university-business co-creation.
